Cashews and Other Nuts
Many major Food processors like Blue Diamond cashews are already using deep-drawn cans for food packaging. Currently, these food processors functioning in India are all importing these cans from Thailand or China. Since our country is rich in resources, many food items like cashews, almonds, and pistachios exported from here will easily adapt our technology for packing.
Processed Tuna & Meat products
India is a country blessed with coastal lines and we have huge marine products. Most of the Tuna and meat processors in India who export to other countries already use imported deep-drawn cans. The Market is only going to improve once our plant becomes operational here.
Ready-to-Eat curries
Food processors like Tasty Nibbles are already exporting our Indian food items like Sambar, Kerala Aviyal, Fish curry etc as ready-to-eat items. These products when packed in our cans will have a shelf life of over a year without adding any kind of preservatives. These are all already existing customers who import cans from outside India because of the unavailability here.
Diary Products and Coconut Milk
Many food processors like Cheese and coconut milk manufacturers will be using our package for exports and in the local markets. Our packaging will help them retain the freshness of items for a longer time. They will all switch to our technology since India will become self-sufficient in manufacturing these cans. This will be a 100% import substitution.
SPIRITUAL FOOD
We aim to promote 2-piece cans in the temple Prasadam packaging industry. The major temples in South India are using our old technology for packaging and it is time for an upgrade.
We have been actively involved in Spiritual food packing for the last 25 years and have the expertise to provide the best-in-class packaging solution.
We will be modernising the packaging of Prasadam, to begin with. One advantage of Spiritual food packaging is that the demand for Prasadam has never declined in the past years.
More than a food item, a Prasadam is a Holy Blessed Sweet that has a Godliness in it. It is customary that a devotee brings back a Prasadam to their home after Dharshan and shares it with his family and friends.
Sri Venkateswara Swami Vaari temple situated in the hill town of Tirumala in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, home to Lord Vishnu, offers world-famous "Tirupati Laddu" as ‘Prasadam’. The temple is run by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and attracts close to 100,000 pilgrims from all over the globe per day.
The holy Tirupati Prasadam is one of the world’s most famous and tastiest blessed sweets. The Laddu, arguably the greatest temple sweet offered to worshippers, has been cherished for more than 302 years. However, until today standard packaging never existed for Prasadam Laddus because of its intricate nature.
A MODERN ERA PACKAGING FOR TEMPLE-BLESSED SWEETS
Large quantities of Laddoos are being prepared and distributed at Tirumala every day in cloth /bio-degradable plastic bags. Since Laddoos are fat-based food, the ghee in Laddu will easily get oxidised when they come in contact with the air. Because of this issue, Prasadam has a shelf life of just a few days. Because of the low shelf-life, the authorities are unable to export Laddoos to various parts of the globe, even though the demand is high.
3-6 Months of Natural Shelf-Life to Laddus
We Carecans can introduce and implement an innovative and advanced packaging solution to Tirupati Laddus in our state-of-the-art ‘Prasadam Pods’. For the first time in the World, we introduce a uniquely designed Prasadam Pod which has an international aesthetic appeal and can preserve the purity of Laddu Prasadam.
With close to 25 years of experience in ‘Temple Prasadam Packaging and partnership with metal packaging giants like Stolle Machinery USA, we Carecans aim to revolutionise spiritual food packaging in India.
